2026-2027 WCHC APP Fellowship Opportunity
The WCHC APP Fellowship is a 12-month, full-time, salaried fellowship offering new Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants longitudinal primary care accelerated clinical practice experience at a rural health FQHC with a strong primary care medicine focus. WCHC works with each APP fellow to individualize their experience based on their skill level and clinical and academic interests.

WCHC Fellowship Eligibility:
- FNPs and PAs who have completed an accredited NP or PA program in the last 18 months or licensed FNPs and PAs who are looking to pivot to Family Medicine.
- All applicants must be fully licensed by the state of California and credentialed by the start of the program.
WCHC Application Cycle Timeline:
- February 20, 2026: Applications open on Indeed
- April 24, 2026: Last Day to Apply
- Spring 2026: Interviews
- Summer 2026: Offers
- July 27, 2026: Last day to sit or be eligible for board exam
- October 2, 2026: Fellowship Program Start Date

- Two letters of recommendation (one professional and one peer)*
- Letter of intent – 500 word maximum*
