Tom
Strand, WCHC Board President
Tom Strand is the IT Director at the Energy Foundation (in the Presidio) in
San Francisco. His specialty is helping people adapt to technological change.
He has assisted non-profits in using computer technologies, particularly collaborative
and communications technologies in China, Russia, Egypt, the Philippines, and
throughout the United States. Six years ago he reduced his travel schedule to
tend to his land and son, both in West Sonoma County. He received an M.S. in
Energy Policy from Stanford and has served as Treasurer of the Board for the
past year and a half of his six year Board service.
Kathleen
Sheridan, WCHC Board Vice President
Kathleen Sheridan is a Nurse Practitioner with Sonoma County Public Health Services.
She has lived in West County for 26 years. In the past, Kathleen has served
on West County Community Services Board and she is presently a member of the
Human Services Commission for Sonoma County. Her interests are painting, reading,
women’s health and being a grandmother.
Diane Spain,
WCHC Board Secretary
Diane Spain is the Director of Senior Services for West County Community Services,
where she has worked since 1986. She was born in San Francisco in 1948 and lived
there until moving to West Sonoma County in 1975. She is active in the local
Lions and Rotary Clubs and became a member of the West County Health Centers
Board of Directors in 1997. Diane has strong management and organizational skills,
loves working with people, and has a great sense of humor. She loves photography,
collecting dolls and M&Ms, and enjoys living in West County with her exceptional
dog, Buffe. Diane has served as WCHC Board President since 2002 and appreciates
being a patient of the Russian River Health Center.
