Please join us in celebrating our important achievements with friends and supporters of the Russian River Health Center. Light refreshments, wonderful company, delightful conversations and tours of our facility will be provided. The program for the evening will begin at 5:30pm and will include Dr. DeEtte DeVille, RRHC Medical Director; Dr. Stephen Chadwick, Dental Director; and John Kornfeld, WCHC Board President.

On Saturday, April 16th join the West County Health Centers team for the Building Bridges Bingo at Odd Fellows Hall - 545 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the game starts at 7:00 pm!

Those attending “Building Bridges Bingo” will enjoy an evening of fun and hilarity as only the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence can provide. If you have ever been to a Sisters’ bingo before, you will know this is going to be an evening of whacky fun, music and outrageous costumes with attitudes to match. The Russian River Sisters’ Bingos have been described as a “collision between Grandma’s church hall bingo and The Rocky Horror Picture Show”. Throw in a big dollop of civic-minded generosity and you have the perfect combination for a night out!

On Friday, December 3rd we celebrated the 35th Birthday of the Occidental Area Health Center. Click here to see the Resolution from the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors for 35 years of service.

Show your support for the Occidental Area Health Center by purchasing a birthday candle to honor 35 Years of providing quality, comprehensive, accessible care for our community. Candles will be posted in the patient waiting room for three months or more and feature the donors recognition name or business. On THURSDAY, June 23rd 2011 We will host a discussion about “The Future of Health Care Reform” with Herb Schultz, U.S. HHS Director Region IX at the *NEW* Forestville Wellness Center from 4-6pm located at 6550 Front Street, Forestville, CA 95436. Limited seating by invitation only, RSVP required.

August 2011

August 7th thru the 13th,  Join us for National Health Centers Week 2011 "Serving Locally, Leading Nationally" August 7th thru 13th.  Every year during the second week of August we celebrate National Health Center Week by recognizing the work that our Community, Public Housing, Migrant, and Homeless Health Centers have provided. This event is a way to further talk about the “Access for All America” plan for giving a health care home to 30 million people by 2015.

On Wednesday, August 10th from 5-7pm join us for the GRAND OPENING of the Forestville Wellness Center.  Please join us in celebrating the opening of our sixth and newest site, the Forestville Wellness Center, with our many friends and supporters, while honoring National Health Centers Week.  Light refreshments, wonderful company, delightful conversations and tours of our new facility will be provided.  Congressional visits and dignitaries to be announced.
